The International Computer Congress 2004 on Wavelet Analysis and Its Applications and Active Media Technology was originally held in Chongqing of P.R.China in May 29-31 2003. With the outbreak of SARS in some areas of China and some other countries, the conference has been postponed to May 28-30 2004 in Chongqing of P.R.China. This conference will be organized by the International Centre for Wavelet Analysis and Its Applications of Logistical Engineering University. The objective of this conference is to provide a forum for both researchers working on wavelet theory, fractal geometry and applications and active media technology. By idea-sharing and discussion on the state-of-the-art in wavelet theory, fractal geometry and applications and active media technology, this conference is expected to stimulate the future development, explore novel applications, and exchange ideas for developing robust solutions. The main famous scientists from the world such as America, France, England, Canada, Germany, Russian, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Chinese mainland, etc., in the research field of wavelet theory & its applications and active media technology have been invited to give talks in the conference.

Three Volumes Proceedings have been published by World Scientific Publishing Co. Every paper in the Three Volumes Proceedings has been cited by EI and ISTP. In order to exchange new ideas and express novel opinion for the conference, the conference organization committee makes a decision to publish a new proceedings, papers in this new proceedings will be cited by EI and ISTP .

All of you are warmly welcome to attend the conference and submit papers to it.
