#11 Meeting: 4th Biannual Wavelet Workshop (DARPA & Lockheed Martin)

As you plan your agenda for next year, DARPA, Lockheed Martin
Electronics and Missiles, and Fast Mathematical Algorithms and
Hardware (FMA&H) are pleased to announce their 4th biannual Wavelet
and Advanced Signal Processing Workshop. The workshop will be held
again at the Lockheed Martin Electronics and Missiles Facility at 5600
Sand Lake Road in Orlando, Florida, February 8-10, 1998.

This year the workshop is dedicated to the efforts of Louis Auslander
and is entitled

"Progress in Computational Mathematics as it relates to Automatic Target
Recognition (ATR), Data/Signal Processing and Communication"

The Goal will be to address topics of direct interest to the
Department of Defense with homage to Dr. Auslander. The workshop will
include updates on prior workshop topics that have been implemented
and new areas of potential.

Featured Speakers are Anna Tsao, Ronald Coifman, Victor Wickerhauser,
Robert and Jeremy Johnson, Paulo Barbano, Larry Peele and Ed Hilbert
from Lockheed Martin and others. An agenda will be published on the
FMA&H Website at "" in Mid January.
