#25 Question: Solving fredholm integral equation of the second kind

Dear friends:

Let me introduce myself as a novice experimenter who wants to use
wavelet-Garlerkin method to solve the fredholm integral equation of
second kind. In fact, I have used other methods (use different
orthogonal basis plus Garlerkin method) to solve this kind of integral
equation but they are really computaioally time-consuming. I heard
that wavelet fast algorithm may be helpful for solving this
problem. Maybe the effiency can be improved a lot using wavelets. I am
so new to wavelet and I want to know how efficiency of using wavelet
for this problem before trying to use this method. Any source of
information related to solution of fredholm integral equation of
second kind using wavelet method would be greatly appreciated. So, if
anyone who has experience in the problem, would you please share it
with me? I really appreciate any kind help. Thank you.
