Title:
Approximation of multivariable refinable functions with arbitary
dilation matrix

Abstract. Let $Phi(x)=left(phi_{1}(x),cdots,phi_{r}(x) ight)
^{T}$, $xin{f R}^{d}$ be a vector-valued function satisfying the
refinement equation
$Phi(x)=displaystylesum_{kinLambda}c_{k}Phi(Ax-k) $ for some
finite set $Lambda$ of ${f Z}^{d}$ and some $r imes r$ matrices
$c_{k}.$ The requirement for $Phi$ to have accuracy p is given in
terms of symbol function $m(xi).$ The relation between superfunction
and accuracy conditions is studied.
