The answer is:

The WaveLab Toolbox of Matlab contains functions to compute the
continuous wavelet transform and to extract ridges and the skeleton.

These functions are CWT, BUildSkelMap and ExtractRidge.

You can download this Toolbox by anonymous FTP to
ftp://playfair.stanford.edu/pub/wavelab. The filnames are:

WaveLab0700.sea.hqx (for Mac)

WaveLab0700.tar.Z (for UNIX)

wlab0700.zip (for MS-Windows).
