#16 Question: Physical Interpretation of Lipschitz Coefficient

Hello I am doing research in wavelet analysis of biosignals. In this
respect I have read some papers by Mallat which mentions the use of
"Lipschitz exponent" for detection of singularites.

I would appriciate if some one working in the wavelet area Can suggest me
some reading material or papers which explains the Physical Significance
of "Lipschitz exponent" with some examples ?
