#7 Software: Wavelet code for Real time application

Wavelet family,
We are newly joined the Wavelet Digest family. We are extremely happy to
join this elite group. We take this opportunity to introduce our research
group on signal processing.

We at cranes InfoTech, INDIA - a Technology company- working very closely
with Research labs and Institutes in the high technology areas. In
particular our thrust area includes real-time signal processing and
control Engineering.

We have developed Wavelet server in MS-Windows 95 environment. This server
is very useful to do the data compression, signal decomposition in Wavelet
basis and reconstruction. This server presently accepts PCM 8 bit *.wav
format for I/O communication. Upgraded version of 16 bit format will be
available after beta site testing soon.

Optimal code for wavelet analysis is developed for DSP processor.
In particular, our code is highly optimized for ADSP SHARC Processor.
For a signal length N, the number of cycles used in decomposition
is given by

Number of Cycles = N*(12+ 2*M)*( 1 + (1/2) + (1/2^2)+ ... +(1/2^(j-1)))

Where M = length of a filter
j = number of level is used in signal decomposition

We have been working in characterization of all solutions of a equation
| h(w) |^2 + | h(w+pi)|^2 = 1.
We also working in non orthogonal wavelet basis synthesis by using
Matrix Polynomial approach for Multi channel signal decomposition
and reconstruction.
