#20 Question: Wavelet series and dynamical systems

Hi all,

I'm currently looking at using wavelet series to reconstruct chaotic
dynamical systems and I was wondering if anyone can point me to any
papers etc. (even slightly) related to this area... even some general
papers on wavelet series would be helpful. The data that I want to
fit is embedded from a time series, so I am unable (as far as I know)
to perform wavelet transforms since the data is (quasi-)randomly
distributed in the space (often 3-D or higher). I am also interested
in applying constraints such as required orders of smoothness and so
papers addressing these sorts of issues would be very useful as well.

Thanks

David
