#26 Question: Looking for compression algorithms

I am currently working on a project for my honours degree entitled
'Applications of Wavelet Theory to Image Compression' funded by the IMAGO
multimedia laboratory. The objectives of the project are:
1. Identify Algorithms for Wavelet Compression
2. Identify Useful Methods for Comparison
* Size
* Speed
* Quality
3. Run Some Comparisons
4. Look for Weaknesses in Algorithms and Comparison Methods
5. Propose Modifications if Possible
I am currently working on the first two objectives of the project,
and though I have been fairly successful in finding methods for comparison,
I have only identified a few codeable image compression algorithms. I would
be grateful to anyone who could be of assistance in providing image
compression algorithms. They must be based on wavelet techniques and any
code which can be supplied would make the project run a lot smoother.
Thanks in advance.
