#1 Preprint: Papers on data smooting using regularization.

We would like to announce the availability of the following papers on
Wavelets applied to smooth data by means of regularization:

- Wavelet Regularization for Smoothing Data, by U. Amato and D.T. Vuza,
Technical Report N. 108/94 of the Istituto per Applicazioni della Matematica,
Napoli (1994).
- Wavelet Approximation of a Function from Samples Affected by Noise, by
U. Amato and D.T. Vuza, Revue Roumaine Math. Pures Appl. (1996), to appear.
- Besov Regularization, Thresholding and Wavelets for Smoothing Data,
by U. Amato and D.T. Vuza, Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization
(1996), to appear.
- An Alternate Proof of a Result of Johnstone and Silverman concerning
Wavelet Thresholding Estimators for Data with Correlated Noise, Revue
Roumaine Math. Pures Appl., 41 (1996), 431-438.

Moreover, the following Fortran, C++ and 80386 upward Assembler software
(and related Technical Report) is freely available:

- A Collection of Routines for the Wavelet Transform of Daubechies Type,
by U. Amato and D.T. Vuza, Techincal Report N. 122/95 of the Istituto
per Applicazioni della Matematica CNR, Napoli (1995).

Reprints are available to interested people by contacting the authors
