Question: Wavelets and integral equations in higher dimensions ?

Dear waveleters,

In G. Beylkin, R. Coifman and V. Rokhlin, "Fast Wavelet Transforms and
Numerical Algorithms I.", the authors describe techniques for applying
operators to one dimensional data in the wavelet domain. They also
note that extension to higher dimensions is relatively
straightforward.

I am interested in knowing if anyone has implemented these techniques in
2D or 3D. Alternatively, what literature might be available describing
how this could be done?

Thanks in advance,

Mr Andrew Dorrell
