Question: Exact reconstruction & good frequency localization?

I am a student working in a Signal Processing laboratory in France. I
am looking for some wavelets (more exactly, filters) that produce a
multiresolution analysis with the most exact possible reconstruction.
I would like these filters to have also a good frequency localization
.

My questions are:
1) Are the biorthogonal filters the only way to achieve this analysis?
2) Could you point me out some filters (orthogonal or biorthogonal)
with a sufficient number of coefficients in order to have a good
frequency localization?

Thank you.
