Meeting: Summer school on wavelets in Poland


SUMMER SCHOOL ON WAVELETS
Zakopane, Poland, August 31 - September 4, 1996

Supported by: BENEFIT Concerted Action for Stimulation
and Support of East-West Collaboration
in the Areas of Microelectronics and Signal Processing
(in the framework of the COPERNICUS 94 programme)
Organized by Silesian Technical University, Gliwice, Poland
in cooperation with Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Science.

TOPICS
Mathematical foundations of wavelets and applications in signal and
image processing.

The scientific programme includes invited lectures and a number of short
talks given by the participants. The lectures and short talks will be
published separately. The Summer School will be held in Zakopane, Poland,
in the most famous and attractive place in the Polish Tatra mountains.
