Question: Wavelets for frequency analysis of EMG data

I am interested in applying the wavelet algorithm in order to examine
the time-frequency spectra of non-stationary data - particularly
electromyographical data. Essentially, what is required is a three
dimensional graphical result, showing the time, the frequency
components, and the power spectrum density (or related megnitude), so
that one can examine, in detail, how the frequency of muscle
activation changes over time.
I know very little about wavelets and would appreciate any
information leading to software that can do what is required, or a
brief outline of what exactly needs to be done, type of wavelets,
algorithms, etc ...
