ANSI announces two short courses in:

April 22-27, 1996

Wavelet Transform is one of the most important topics to emerge recently
with a wide-range of applications in diverse fields. The course will
provide you with the basic understanding of wavelet and subband
decomposition and their applications as practical signal processing tools.
Special emphasis will be given to applications in communications which
will include excision, spread spectrum codes based on subband filters,
CDMA and discrete multi tone transceivers.

April 29-May 2, 1996

Wireless Communications and Networking will play the most significant
role in commercial technological sectors of the 21st century towards the
goal of achieving Instantaneous Global Communication of voice, data and
images from any point to any point. This will include satellite, cellular
