1. Near-Perfect-Reconstruction Pseudo-QMF (cosine-modulated filter bank):
Typical design is 32-channel, length 512 with -100 dB stopband
attenuation, no amplitude or phase distortions,
aliasing is about -100 dB

2. PR Cosine-modulated filter banks:
Typical design is 32-channel, length 512 with -90 dB stopband att.

3. Multiscale Feature Detection.
