Question: Parametrization/Construction of Biorthogonal Wavelets

Dear Readers,

while researching the properties of wavelets and their influences on
image-compression I need a "huge" amount of different wavelets as a
test-base.

So far I used the Daubechies-family and some Coiflets in the
orthogonal case, in the biorth case the well-known spline-wavelets
are used so far.

To increase the number of available wavelets I made use of Pollen's
and Zou's parametrization of orthogonal wavelets and had some
interesting results.

But especially for image coding the family of biorthogonal wavelets is
rather promising (and yields better results so far), so I am looking
for something similar like Zou's/Pollen's parametrization for the
biorth. case.

In addition, if someone knows about an implementation (C preferred) to
construc borth. wavelets (but not the spline-family), any pointers are
welcomed.
