Question: Wavelet transform applied to turbulence data

Hello,
I'm working on wavelets transform applied to turbulence data. I have
difficulty in understanding the results. I use the Farge's paper (" Wavelet
transforms and their applications to turbulence" in Ann. Rev. Fluid.Mech. 1992)
, but I don't find the relation between the wavelet transform and the physical
meaning. I use two algorithms: one on the discrete wavelet transform, the other
on the continue wavelet transform.
I would greatly appreciate any information on this. Contact me by
E-mail "wilbal@univ-valenciennes.fr".

Thanks, Anne Wilbal.
