Software: Lynxvale's Wavelet Toolbox version 3.0

A query has been raised in connection with the Harmonic Wavelet transform
programs which are part of Lynxvale's Wavelet Toolbox version 3.0.

These programs support the book Random Vibrations, Spectral and Wavelet
Analysis by
D E Newland, published by Wiley in the USA (ISBN 0-470-22153-4) and by
Longman elsewhere (ISBN 0-582-21584-6). The logic of the programs is that
of Figure 17.26 of this book in which the input and output sequences are
row vectors.

Because the programs use the MATLABR function fliplr, the functions hwtdn,
ihwtdn and hmapdn require their inputs to be row vectors as in Figure
17.26. If column vectors are used, incorrect answers are obtained.

The toolbox provides a set of MATLABR programs for wavelet analysis by the
dilation wavelet transform and by harmonic and musical wavelet transforms.
