Several papers related to WavBox software may be downloaded
via anonymous ftp from the directory /pub/taswell at the site
"" or ""; this directory contains
compressed ".dvi" and ".ps" versions of the following papers which
are cited in BibTeX format:

1) wta.dvi.Z and

author="Carl Taswell and Kevin C. McGill",
title="Wavelet Transform Algorithms for Finite-Duration Discrete-Time Signals",
journal="ACM Transactions on Mathematical Software",

2) nbbsa.dvi.Z and

author="Carl Taswell",
title="Near-Best Basis Selection Algorithms with Non-Additive Information Cost Functions",
booktitle="Proceedings of the IEEE International Symposium on Time-Frequency and Time-Scale Analysis",

To uncompress these files after ftp'ing them into a directory on your

The current version of WavBox is 4.1c (8/31/94); this version includes
