on
Wavelets and Multiresolution Signal Processing

Dr. Bernard Levy, Electr. and Comp. Engr. Dept., University of California
Davis, Davis, CA 95616, levy@ece.ucdavis.edu.

A special issue on multidimensional wavelets with applications consisting
of both invited and contributed papers is being planned. Topics include
multidimensional filter bank and wavelet design. Application areas would
include but are not limited to picture coding, solution of partial
differential equations, numerical linear algebra, computerized tomography,
model reduction of systems and spline representation of surfaces. Papers can
be submitted to any of the Special Issue Editors. Five copies are required.
All papers will go through the regular peer review process.


Deadline for Submission: May 1, 1995.
Tentative Schedule for the issue: December 1995.
