Question: Application of wavelets to communication.

Dear Waveleteers,

I am interested in finding any information regarding the application
of wavelets to Communication. Specifically, is there anything currently
being done in the communication area where wavelets are being applied
for noise removal, anti-jam, LPI signals, etc. I would appreciate
your response most favorably.

In addition, we just graduated a student from the Ohio University
Electrical Engineering Department (no I didn't mean to type Ohio STATE) whe
came up with some very interesting results for his Ph.D. One of the best
was a splendid way of implementing the wavelet decomposition with even
order filters. To my knowledge, the constraint that the g and h filters
be odd order was previously thought to be fact.
His name is Bill Jones, and he can be reached at
bjones@fester.ent.ohiou.edu

Thank you in advance for your help.
