Question: Wavelets and edge effects

Hi,

I am using Wavelets(the Daubechies family) to smooth sensor signal from a
chemical process, but I am having problems with end effects. The information
towards the end corresponds to the most recent point of time and I cant
afford to have that information distorted. Could any one suggest a way to handle
signal distortions? I am sure it'll be a real challenge to figure out a way
to handle that in real time.
thanks,
