Call for Papers

WAVELET APPLICATIONS CONFERENCE

Part of SPIE Program on Wavelet Related Technology
Orlando, 5-8 April 1994
Marriott's Orlando World Center

Abstract due date: 30 September 1993
Manuscript due date: 10 January 1994
(firm deadline so that proceedings will be available on site)

This conference will be unique in its attention to the applications of
the wavelet transform. We hope that it will become the definitive
forum for applications in this timely new topic. This year's program
will include theory, and all aspects of wavelet applications and
implementations. Highlights will be multiresolution analysis of
time-scale joint representations, such as Gabor, Haar, Daubechies,
Coifnet and neuronet-wavenet.

This will be an excellent opportunity to present your work and help
define cutting edge frontiers that may be needed for future ARPA, ONR
and FBI research. Current efforts in these programs will be presented
at conference.

Papers are solicited on, but are not limited to, the following topics:

-complete orthogonal basis -source identification
-adaptive super-mother wavenet -fingerprints.

-data representation -neuro-wavelet chips
-texture analysis -inspection systems

-image processing
