Question: Daub4 wavelets in 2dimensions

I am trying to recognise an image using a wavelet encoding
of a 128 x 128 pixel image.

I have been led to beleive that if you take the daub4 wavelet
transform of a 2D image that there are reflection and boundary
problems.

1) I have been unable to find any literature on this matter -
any suggestions / refs would be greatfully preciated.

2) Will these boudary / reflection problems affect the
classification of the image ?

Many Thanks
